Castle Reimagined

So like last week, I did a castle but this time I decided to added more details and fix up the original. And that means starting from scratch

I started like I did last week with making an outline with circles, but this time I also used rectangles to mark where I want the battlements and ramparts by using the rotate tool with copy on so it will look even.

Then I extruded everything with extrude curve and cut it with boolean
difference.

Already looks so much better and we aren't even done the outer walls. Now I take two circles and two squares to make arch doorways and windows, I pushed a copy of this layout to the side to save for later.

I used the revolve tool to help me get the shape all the way around through each tower, then cut the shape from each tower. N
ow we have doorways in the towers.

(I took this screenshot before I did the ramparts)

Following the same steps as the towers, we can make a doorway to get into the walls.

next we work on the inner building. using various shapes like squares, triangles and circles, following the same steps as we did for outer walls,
we can make the inner palace

Second to last, step I do some landscaping by adding a pond with stones and cattails, a road going into the castle, and adding a pier. this is also the step where I add a light source to act as a moon.

And finally I colour and render it, while getting the... π“–𝓡π“ͺ𝓢𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓒𝓱𝓸𝓽𝓼!

This was fun to make, even though the raytracing crashed the program a few times... But I still feel like I pulled it off.
